I’ve spent the last 53 years as a son, a brother, a husband, a father, a co-worker and a friend. Toss in more than 25 years hanging out in advertising agencies, and it’s easy to understand why I know a thing or two about love, anger, money, frustration, passion, fear, hope, joy, faith and dreams. In my humble opinion these are the things you need to know to do great marketing.

An Art Director/Creative Director by trade and a Writer at heart, I’ve worked my craft for a wide variety of clients throughout the years. Some favorites include Honda Motorcycles, Toro, Winnebago, Arctic Cat, Bridgestone Tires, New Holland Tractors, Purina Dog Food, the Minnesota Lottery, the Minnesota Office of Tourism and the Turkish Office of Tourism. I’ve won numerous industry awards for my work and have been recognized in Communication Arts, PRINT, Archive, Adweek and other publications.

I have a bachelor’s degree in advertising design from the College of Associated Arts in St. Paul.

I love all things two-wheeled — including my 1000cc Suzuki v-twin sport bike, my 450 Honda motocross bike (now mostly for trail riding at the lake) and my non-motorized mountain bike that helps me find my calm whenever life gets too crazy.
